Later on in the game, when you need to spend a ton of enhancement points on raising the enhancement grade of an item, Enhancing Tokens can come in handy.

You can get Enhancement Tokens in AFK Arena by doing Peaks of Time, Weekly Quests, Towers of Esperia, Voyage of Wonders, and by buying it from the Store – find more information on each method below.

Table of contents

Peaks of Time

Finding chests in the Peaks of Time is one of the best ways to get Enhancement Tokens in AFK Arena.

The chests in Peaks of Time are among the ones that contain the highest number of rare Enhancement Tokens per chest.

Recommended Read: How to Get Hero’s Essence in AFK Arena

You can access Peaks of Time through the Dark Forest in the bottom menu.

Peaks of Time consists of smaller stories with puzzles to complete, enemies to beat, and, of course, chests to collect.

Weekly Quests

Weekly quests are the only ones that can give you Enhancement Tokens in the game.

Neither Daily nor Campaign quests offer Enhancement Tokens as a reward.

Specifically, it’s the second chest inside the Weeklies tab inside Quests that contains Enhancement Tokens, 100 of them.

To unlock the chest, collect 40 weekly quest points by completing weekly quests.

Towers of Esperia

Towers of Esperia is a separate set of floors inside the King’s Tower located in the Dark Forest.

You unlock Towers of Esperia after reaching chapter 15 in the campaign.

Like King’s Tower, Towers of Esperia consists of a series of floors with enemies on them, each of which gives a reward upon completion.

Some of the floors in Towers of Esperia give Enhancement Tokens as a reward.

What makes Towers of Esperia different from King’s Tower is that they are faction-specific.

Voyage of Wonders

In the Dark Forest, you can access the Voyage of Wonders, which is a map of voyages in the game.

You can only start a voyage while it is open, and there is usually only one open at a time.

Inside a voyage, you will like in the Peaks of Time, go through a puzzle, fight enemies, and collect chests.

Some of these chests contain Enhancement Tokens.

Store

Enhancement Tokens can be purchased directly in the Store located in Ranhorn.

You can purchase Enhancement Tokens both in the general tab and in the barracks tab.

In the general tab, Enhancement Tokens are sold for diamonds, so they are not recommended to buy, as you can spend your diamonds more efficiently.

Enhancement Tokens are also quite expensive to purchase in the barracks tab, so you might want to spend your Hero Coins on other things like elite heroes or dimensional events.

AFK Arena – How To Enhance Gear https://gamerempire.net/how-to-enhance-gear-afk-arena-guide/ https://gamerempire.net/how-to-enhance-gear-afk-arena-guide/#respond Wed, 17 Feb 2021 23:45:47 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=3723 Enhancing gear is one of the many methods to increase the power of your heroes in AFK Arena.

Whether it’s because you’re looking to improve your team or want to complete the daily quest ‘Enhance your gear once’, this guide teaches how to enhance gear.

To enhance gear in AFK Arena, go to the Heroes tab in the bottom menu of the game, select the hero wearing the piece of equipment you wish to enhance, click the piece of equipment, click enhance, select the tokens or pieces of gear to sacrifice, and then click Confirm – more information on each method below.

Table of contents

How To Enhance Gear

In AFK Arena, only gear of rare rarity or higher can be enhanced, which means that you cannot enhance any of your gear if all of it is either common or regular.

Rare gear has a blue background, while common gear has a green background, and regular gear has a grey background.

Elite gear with a purple background, Legendary gear with an orange background, and Mythic gear with a red background can all also be enhanced.

Recommended Read: How to Get Rid of Heroes in AFK Arena

Once you have an item with a blue, purple, orange, or red background, you can start enhancing in AFK Arena.

Before you can enhance a piece of gear, you first have to make one of your heroes wear it.

You can do this by going to the Heroes tab in the bottom menu of the game, selecting a hero, and either pressing the specific gear slot and choosing the piece of equipment you want to equip or just use the Equip Gear button.

The Equip Gear button will automatically make the selected hero wear the best gear you have for that hero that hasn’t already been given to another hero of yours.

In the picture below, you can see how to manually equip a piece of equipment.

Equip gear in AFK Arena

Now that you’ve equipped a piece of equipment, you can now enhance it, given it’s of rare or higher rarity, of course.

To enhance gear, click the piece of equipment on the hero page of the hero wearing the equipment you wish to enhance.

The hero page is where you’ve just made your hero wear equipment.

Clicking a piece of equipment here will open up a pop-up window for the item, displaying its stats.

On the pop-up window for a piece of equipment, you’ll also find an Enhance button, go ahead and press that.

You will now be taken to the enhancement page of that piece of equipment.

Here you can enhance it by spending Enhancement Tokens and other gear.

Selecting Enhancement Tokens and gear will add enhancement points to the selected item.

Right above the grid displaying your Enhancement Tokens and all your gear, you can see how many enhancement points you need to upgrade the selected item to its next enhancement level.

In the image below, you can see what enhancing an item in the game looks like.

Enhancing gear in AFK Arena

Once you’re happy with your choice of Enhancement Tokens and gear and wish to use those to enhance the selected item, click Confirm.

Do note that using the Enhancement Tokens and gear you select will be destroyed to enhance the selected item.

Therefore, make sure you don’t spend the gear you need to enhance an item.

The number of enhancement points it takes to bring a piece of equipment to its next enhancement level depends on its rarity and type.

That’s it! You have now enhanced your gear in AFK Arena and have become stronger.

Gear upgrade priority

At the beginning of the game, you’ll have plenty of resources to fully upgrade all the gear your five main heroes are wearing.

However, as you progress through the game, enhancing gear becomes more costly, forcing you to choose what items you want to enhance first and for what hero.

Here are some tips when it comes to enhancing gear in AFK Arena late-game.

Firstly, you want to prioritize enhancing gear for your carry heroes first, as these have the biggest impact on the outcome of battles.

After enhancing the gear of your carries, you can start upgrading the gear of your tanks and support heroes.

Secondly, later in the game, you only want to enhance gear that has a faction bonus on it, as these are the only items you want to use on a fully optimized team.

So even if you don’t have a hero of the faction that matches the faction bonus on your team, you should still upgrade it as you will later in the game.

Thirdly, as enhancing is costly, you shouldn’t fully upgrade one piece of equipment at a time, as this is cost-ineffective.

Instead, you should enhance your gear one level, then enhance another piece of gear one level.

You should do this until all pieces of equipment of the hero you are currently prioritizing are level 3, then move onto another hero.

Should you spend resources to enhance gear

Enhancing gear is a costly activity in AFK Arena, especially later on in the game.

However, it is necessary. Therefore, the answer to this question is yes. You should spend your resources, more specifically your gold, to enhance gear.

Enhancement tokens and gear you don’t need have no other use than to be used for enhancing other gear.

You can learn more about what else to spend your gold on in our post on The Best Way To Spend Gold in AFK Arena.

AFK Arena – How To Get Hero Experience https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-hero-experience/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-hero-experience/#respond Wed, 17 Feb 2021 09:52:09 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=13229 Hero Experience is one of the most common resources in AFK Arena but is extremely useful.

You need Hero Experience to level up heroes in the game, making it an immensely important resource.

You can get Hero Experience in AFK Arena by doing the Arcane Labyrinth, Voyage of Wonders, Stages in the campaign, Noble Society, King’s Tower, Events, by collecting AFK Rewards, and by completing Campaign Quests – more information on each method below.

Table of contents

Arcane Labyrinth

The Arcane Labyrinth is a series of tiles on three floors where you’ll fight enemies to progress, collect relics, and more.

All the tiles with chests on them are battles that give rewards upon completion.

One of the rewards that you get every single time you defeat a tile of enemies in the Arcane Labyrinth is Hero Experience.

Recommended Read: AFK Arena Tier List

Therefore, if you wish to maximize the amount of Hero Experience you get from the Arcane Labyrinth, you should choose as many tiles with chests on them as possible.

Furthermore, the tiles with chests on them that have a red flag on them instead of a brown have tougher enemies but also give a lot more rewards.

So if your team can handle it, go for tiles with chests on them that have a red flag as well.

If your team is close to dying, then you should go for a tile with healing, revive, etc., to keep your team alive for longer.

Even though you will miss out on a battle, if you run out of strong heroes and are stuck in the Arcane Labyrinth, then you’ll miss out on many more battles and have to wait for the Labyrinth to reset.

Voyage of Wonders

In the Voyage of Wonders located in the Dark Forest in the bottom menu, you can go through puzzles full of enemies and chests to collect.

Some of the chests you can find in voyages contain Hero Experience, and when they do, it’s usually 24 hours’ worth of it.

It is, however, far from always that a voyage has chests that can give Hero Experience.

But, be sure to go check out what voyages you can do in the Voyage of Wonders at the moment, in case you can get some Hero Experience in there.

Stage rewards

Going through the campaign by completing stages is another way to get Hero Experience in AFK Arena.

Every time you complete a stage, you get some rewards that include Hero Experience.

The amount of Hero Experience you get from completing a stage depends on how far into the campaign you’ve progressed.

If you’re currently stuck at a specific level in the campaign, then there won’t be much Hero Experience to earn from this method at the moment, though.

Noble Society

Only some players can get Hero Experience from the Noble Society, as you need to have the Hero’s Return event active.

If you do, then you can earn some Hero Experience in the Noble Society, which is located inside the Merchants tab in the top left corner of the main idle screen.

Inside the Noble Society, you should have the Righteous Riches tab right if the Hero’s Return event is active for you.

In the Righteous Riches, you can earn rewards by collecting Savior’s Medallions.

At specific numbers of Savior’s Medallions collected, you unlock rewards, some of which are Hero Experience time-skips.

King’s Tower

In the King’s Tower located in the Dark Forest, you will unlock the Towers of Esperia after reaching chapter 15 in the campaign.

In the Towers of Esperia, which are located inside the King’s Tower, you can earn different rewards by clearing floors.

On some of the floors, the reward is a hefty chunk of Hero Experience.

The first Hero Experience reward in the Towers of Esperia is floor 105.

Events

Some of the many events that AFK Arena runs can give Hero Experience as a reward upon participation.

Unfortunately, it’s far from all events that have Hero Experience in their rewards pool, but some do.

Therefore, we recommend you check out what events are active at the moment by checking both the left-side menu and the Events tab.

Some events are not listed in the Events tab even though they are active, so that’s why you should make sure to check out the left-side menu as well.

AFK Rewards

AFK Rewards are the idle rewards that your team passively collects for you, even when you aren’t playing the game.

You can claim them by clicking the chests and piles of gold in the middle of the main idle screen.

From AFK Rewards, you’ll get a bunch of different resources and items, including Hero Experience.

As you can get Hero Experience from AFK Rewards, you can also get it from Fast Rewards, which gives two hours’ worth of AFK Rewards instantly.

You can use Fast Rewards one time for free daily, which you should do, but don’t spend diamonds to do additional Fast Rewards, as they are better spent on other things.

Campaign Quests

There is also Hero Experience to be earned in the Quests tab located in the top-right corner of the main idle screen.

The campaign quest type, which requires you to collect a specific number of heroes, gives Hero Experience.

There are, however, no daily or weekly quests that give Hero Experience.

AFK Arena – How To Get Hero’s Essence https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-heros-essence/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-heros-essence/#respond Tue, 16 Feb 2021 21:48:36 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=13159 Hero’s Essence is one of the most important resources in the game to collect, as you’ll find yourself in need of lots of it quickly.

You need Hero’s Essence to level up heroes when their skills are due to be upgraded. The specific levels are: 11, 21, 41, 61, 81, 101, 121, 141, 161, 181, 201, and 221.

In short, you can get Hero’s Essence in AFK Arena by doing Bounties, Noble Society, Peaks of Time, Events, Quests, King’s Tower, Arcane Labyrinth, Voyage of Wonders, Arena of Heroes, buying it in the Store, by retiring heroes, and collecting AFK Rewards – more information on each method below.

Table of contents

Bounties

Completing bounties is an easy way to get Hero’s Essence in AFK Arena.

You can find all your available bounties on the Bounty Board located in the Dark Forest.

Recommended Read: How to Get More Heroes in AFK Arena

To start a bounty, click Dispatch, and choose the required combination of heroes.

Once you’ve started a bounty, you have to wait until it’s finished before you can collect its rewards, which means this method can’t get you Hero’s Essence here and now.

However, as starting bounties require almost no work, you should always start as many as you can so you have rewards, including Hero’s Essence, waiting for you when you come back later.

Noble Society

In the Noble Society located in the Merchants tab at the top left corner of the main game screen, you can earn Hero’s Essence.

Under the Noble Society tab, select Champions of Esperia.

Here you will see a list of rewards you can unlock by collecting Heroic Merit.

All of these rewards are either a set amount of Hero’s Essence or some number of hours worth of Hero’s Essence.

You can get even more Hero’s Essence in Champions of Esperia by unlocking the Premium Pass, but even without you will get a lot of Hero’s Essence.

Peaks of Time

There are a bunch of rewards to earn in the Peaks of Time, including Hero’s Essence.

Peaks of Times consists of puzzle stories full of enemies to defeat and chests to collect.

You can access the Peaks of Time by going to the Dark Forest and choosing Peaks of Time at the top.

There are two kinds of chests in the stories in Peaks of Time, regular and rare chests.

One of the rewards regular chests contain is Hero’s Essence, and quite a generous amount relative to the amount you earn from other sources at the same point in the game.

If you’re stuck in a story in the Peaks of Time or your team is dead, go back out to the Peaks of Time lobby, select the story, and click ‘Finish Adventure’. You can then do the same story from the start again.

Events

In AFK Arena, there are usually several active events at any time.

Sometimes, you can get Hero’s Essence from some of these events, but it is, however, far from always.

Therefore, we recommend you check out what events are currently in the game to see if you can get any Hero’s Essence from them.

Be sure to check out both the left-side menu itself on the main idle tab, as well as the events list under ‘Events’, as not all events are listed in the Events tab.

Quests

You can also earn some Hero’s Essence from quests in AFK Arena, but not a lot.

The first quest chest under the dailies tab gives 20 Hero’s Essence.

No other chests or quests in the game give Hero’s Essence, unfortunately.

To unlock the first chest in the dailies quest tab, you have to collect 20 daily quest points, which you can do by completing and collecting points from two daily quests.

King’s Tower

Completing floors in the King’s Tower located inside the Dark Forest is a great way to earn Hero’s Essence.

Every single floor in the King’s Tower gives Hero’s Essence as a reward, so be sure to go there often.

If you haven’t done it in a long time, and your team has become stronger in the meantime, you can quickly sweep through a bunch of floors and thereby get a lot of Hero’s Essence.

If you are currently stuck on a floor in the King’s Tower, then there isn’t much Hero’s Essence for you to earn in here at the moment, unfortunately.

Arcane Labyrinth

The Arcane Labyrinth, located in the Dark Forest, consists of three floors, each of which requires you to go through tiles of enemies and utility tiles.

At the end of each floor, you will face a boss team.

After clearing this boss team, you can collect and open the floor-chest located right behind the final tile.

This chest contains both Gold and Hero’s Essence.

To maximize the amount of Hero’s Essence you get from the Arcane Labyrinth, make sure you make your way through all three floors before it resets, as all three floor-chests on each floor give Hero’s Essence.

Voyage of Wonders

Some of the voyages in the Voyage of Wonders, including The Ice Field, can give Hero’s Essence in the form of a time-skip item as a reward in chests.

It is, however, not all voyages that have Hero’s Essence in their reward pool.

Therefore, go check out what voyages you can currently do and what rewards they offer.

You can get to the Voyage of Wonders through the Dark Forest in the bottom menu.

Arena of Heroes

Arena of Heroes is the PvP system in AFK Arena, and here you can also earn a small amount of Hero’s Essence.

Every time you win a battle in the Arena of Heroes, you get a reward, which can be Hero’s Essence.

However, even when you do get Hero’s Essence as a reward, it’s only 10, so don’t expect to get a bunch from this source.

Store

You can purchase Hero’s Essence in the Store located in Ranhorn.

Under the general ‘Store’ tab of the Store, you can purchase an amount of Hero’s Essence for Gold every single day.

The amount you can purchase as well as the Gold cost of it, depends on how far into the game you’ve progressed.

We highly recommend you buy this Hero’s Essence daily.

You can also purchase Hero’s Essence in the ‘Labyrinth Store’ tab of the Labyrinth store with Labyrinth Tokens.

Retire heroes

After summoning a bunch of heroes, you’ll have a lot of common heroes that you have no use for.

The only thing to do with them is to retire them in the Rickety Cart located in Ranhorn.

When you retire heroes in the Rickety Cart, you get two different resources – Hero Coins and Hero’s Essence.

AFK Rewards

In AFK Arena, your team passively generates resources, gear, and other useful items, even when you aren’t actively playing the game.

One of the rewards in these idle rewards, known as AFK Rewards, is Hero’s Essence.

Therefore, you should make sure to collect your AFK Rewards before their maximum capacity is reached.

Because you can get Hero’s Essence from AFK Rewards, you can also get it from the Fast Rewards feature that gives you two hours’ worth of AFK Rewards instantly.

You can claim Fast Rewards for free once daily, which you should, of course, do. We don’t recommend spending diamonds to claim additional Fast Rewards.

AFK Arena – How To Get Gladiator Coins https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-gladiator-coins/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-how-to-get-gladiator-coins/#respond Mon, 15 Feb 2021 23:29:10 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=13140 Gladiator Coins is a useful currency in AFK Arena as you can spend it in the Challenger Store or exchange it for hero shards in Dimensional Events.

You cannot earn Gladiator Coins in AFK Arena early on in the game, leaving some players confused as to how you can obtain them.

You can get Gladiator Coins in AFK Arena by collecting them from the chest located in the Legends’ Challenger Tournament in Arena of Heroes – more information on this below.

Table of contents

How to get Gladiator Coins in AFK Arena

Before you can start earning Gladiator Coins in AFK Arena, you need to complete stage 20 in chapter 9 of the campaign.

This is because you unlock the Legends’ Challenger Tournament after completing that stage.

Recommended Read: AFK Arena – How to Get Guild Coins

Once you’ve cleared stage 20 in chapter 9, you can access the Legends’ Challenger Tournament by going to the Dark Forest in the bottom menu, selecting Arena of Heroes, and then choosing Legends’ Challenger Tournament.

In the Legends’ Challenger Tournament, you have a chest at the top of the lobby that passively generates Gladiator Coins.

Just like with AFK Rewards on the campaign screen, you can claim the Gladiator Coins generated in this chest since the last time you claimed them.

Be sure to claim your Gladiator Coins before the chest is full to maximize the number of Gladiator Coins you get.

You can increase the number of Gladiator Coins you generate per hour by winning battles in the Legends’ Challenger Tournament.

Before starting a battle, you can see the number of Gladiator Coins your hourly rate will be increased by upon victory.

In the Legends’ Challenger Tournament, you need to bring three teams to battles, which means it can be a bit difficult to win at the beginning if you don’t have a lot of different powerful heroes and sets of gear.

All heroes’ levels are, however, scaled to match the opponent, making it a fair fight level-wise.

What can you purchase with Gladiator Coins

There are two things you can spend your Gladiator Coins on in AFK Arena; the Challenger Store and Dimensional events.

You can access the Challenger Store by clicking the shop icon in the top-right corner of the Legends’ Challenger Tournament tab or by choosing the Challenger Store tab in the Store in Ranhorn.

Recommended Read: AFK Arena – Rerolling Guide

In the Challenger Store, you can purchase a variety of Elite heroes in exchange for Gladiator Coins.

You can also purchase Rare Hero Soulstones, but the Elite heroes are obviously what you want to prioritize.

The second use of Gladiator Coins is for Dimensional events.

In Dimensional Events, you can exchange 13,333 Gladiator Coins for one hero shard of whatever heroes you can currently get in the Dimensional event.

AFK Arena – Best Way To Spend Gold https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-way-to-spend-gold/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-way-to-spend-gold/#respond Fri, 12 Feb 2021 15:29:19 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=12949 Gold is an essential resource in AFK Arena that you need for several purposes, including upgrading heroes and enhancing gear.

At the beginning of the game, you’ll have plenty of gold, but later on, it becomes a scarce resource that you need to spend wisely.

The best way to spend your gold in AFK Arena is for leveling up heroes, buying Hero Essence, Emblems, and Poe Coins, and enhancing gear – find more details on all of these below.

Table of contents

What to spend gold on in AFK Arena

You can spend your gold on several things in AFK Arena, but there are a couple that is better to use the precious resource on than others.

What is the single best way to spend your gold in AFK Arena depends on your situation.

Recommended Read: Best Heroes in AFK Arena – Tier List

However, it will, in almost all situations, be one of the following:

  • Leveling up heroes
  • Enhancing gear
  • Buying Hero Essence, Emblems, or Poe Coins from the Store

Earlier on in the game, we recommend you spend your gold for all three purposes as much as you want to get your progress going as fast as possible.

You will have plenty of gold leftover in the beginning, so don’t worry about overspending it.

You should also make sure to purchase all the Hero Essence that’s for sale for gold in the Store daily, as you’ll need a lot of this resource later on.

Towards the mid-game, gold becomes more scarce and thereby more valuable.

Enhancing gear becomes a gold-costly endeavor at this point, so you might want to consider waiting to upgrade some of your gear till you get mythic items you’ll use for the end-game.

At this point, you will also start to see Emblems and Poe Coins in the Store for sale for gold, both of which you should purchase.

Once you reach late and end-game, it’s the three things listed above you should focus your gold on, depending on your situation.

If you’re in need of more gold, then check out our guide on How To Get Gold in AFK Arena.

Tip for gold time-skip items

Throughout the game, you’ll get many different gold time-skip items from sources, including the Labyrinth and Quests.

These items give you a set number of heroes worth of gold instantly.

The multiplier that is used to calculate what X number of hours worth is gold for you is the amount of gold you generate per minute from AFK Rewards.

Therefore, the further into the game you’ve progressed, the more gold you’ll get from these items.

In other words, the most optimal way to use these gold time-skip items is to wait till you generate more gold per minute, as they’ll give much more gold then.

As you can’t wait forever before spending them, we recommend you keep all time-skip items in your bags until you actually need them.

You won’t need a lot of gold in the beginning of the game, so you should just hold on to them until you run out of gold and really need more of it to progress.

So you should spend it wisely.

You need gold for many purposes in the game, including upgrading your heroes and enhancing gear.

Luckily, there are quite a few different ways to get Gold in AFK Arena, all of which we’ll show you in this guide.

In short, you can get gold in AFK Arena by collecting AFK Rewards, Fast Rewards, doing Quests, the Guild Hunt, The Campaign, King’s Tower, Arena of Heroes, Events, Peaks of Time, Bounties, Arcane Labyrinth, Voyage of Wonders, Battle Wagers, and by redeeming Redemption Codes.

Find more information on each of these methods below.

Table of contents

AFK Rewards

Your team automatically earns you both gold and hero experience, which you can claim on the Campaign tab of the game.

The amount of gold and hero experience your team passively generates per minute depends on how far into the campaign you’ve progressed, as well as your VIP level.

Recommended Read: AFK Arena – Best Teams Guide

The number of hours worth of resources you can maximum hold in your AFK Rewards also depend on your VIP level.

Be sure to claim your AFK Rewards minimum every 12 hours or however many hours worth of rewards you can hold to get as much gold as possible.

Guild Hunt

The Guild Hunt consists of two bosses, Wrizz and Soren, who you can challenge twice a day.

Before you can challenge Soren, your guild needs to have collected enough trophies, and your guild leader has to start the hunt for him, though.

You can access these two bosses by going to Ranhorn, then Guild at the top of the town, and then selecting Guild Hunting.

You will get various rewards from challenging these two bosses, including gear, diamonds, and, of course, gold.

The amount of gold you get per guild hunt boss run depends on the amount of damage you deal to the boss.

Therefore, the amount of gold you earn from the Guild Hunt will increase throughout the game and can be drastically increased by building a strong bossing team.

Fast Rewards

A way to instantly get a handful is gold is by using the Fast Rewards feature.

The Fast Rewards feature gives you two hours’ worth of gold and hero experience upon use.

You can find the Fast Rewards button in the bottom right corner of the Campaign tab of the game.

Every single day, you can use Fast Rewards one time for free, after which it costs diamonds.

As it’s not worth it to spend diamonds on Fast Rewards, you should only use your daily free use.

Quests

There are cold to be earned in the quest tab of AFK Arena.

The second quest reward chest in the dailies tab contains a 2-hour gold hourglass. You need 40 daily quest points to unlock this chest.

In the weeklies tab, both the first and third rewards chest contain an 8-hour gold hourglass. You need 60 weekly quest points to unlock both of these.

Some campaign quests also give gold as a reward, for example, the Accumulate, a total of X amount of gold, while AFK quests.

Campaign

Progressing through the campaign will get you gold, as one of the rewards from completing stages is gold.

The amount of gold you get per stage completed isn’t much, at least later on in the game.

However, progressing will also increase the amount of gold you generate per minute from AFK Rewards, so it’s well worth your while.

Redemption Codes

Redeeming Redemption Codes is a quick and easy way to get gold in AFK Arena.

Redemption Codes are codes issued by the developers of the game for players to claim.

Sometimes, the rewards of these codes include gold.

If you don’t know how to redeem codes, then check out our guide on How To Redeem Redemption Codes in AFK Arena.

As redemption codes expire after a while, go check out our AFK Arena Redemption Codes List to make sure you get to claim all current active codes.

King’s Tower

Beating stages in the King’s Tower is another great way to earn gold.

The King’s Tower consists of floors with one team per floor. Each time you clear a floor, you get a reward, which includes gold.

As you get quite a lot of gold per floor you clear, you can potentially get a lot of gold quickly from King’s Tower.

It will, however, depend on how much you’ve been doing it.

If you haven’t done it in a while, then you can clear a lot of floors and thereby get a lot of gold.

But, if you are currently stuck on a floor, then there obviously won’t be much gold to gain from King’s Tower until you become stronger.

Arena of Heroes

Arena of Heroes is the PvP system in AFK Arena, where you can fight other players’ teams.

When you win a battle in the Arena of Heroes, you get a reward.

One of the rewards that you can get is gold. It is not certain that you will get gold, though, as there are a few different items in the reward pool.

You have three daily free entrances in the Arena of Heroes, so be sure to use all of them.

Events

There are always events running in AFK Arena.

In these events, you can earn different rewards, and sometimes those rewards include gold.

Therefore, make sure to check out what events are active at the time that you are reading this.

You can see all active events in the left-side menu on the Campaign tab of the game.

Be sure to check out both the left-side menu itself as well as the Events list, as not all events are listed in the Events list.

Peaks of Time

Peaks of Time is a series of small story puzzles located in the Dark Forest.

In these puzzle stories, you’ll be exploring a map full of enemies, chests, and more.

The chests you find inside the Peaks of Time contain useful rewards, including gold.

The amount of gold you get from these chests increases each time you unlock a new story.

Be sure to do Peaks of Time, as the amount of gold you get per gold reward is a lot relative to how much you get from other sources.

Bounties

You can get gold from completing bounties in AFK Arena, which are, but require some waiting.

To see all the bounties you can currently do, go to the Dark Forest and select the Bounty Board.

Here you will see a list of all bounties that are available to do as well as their rewards, time to complete, and remaining time.

The rewards from some of these bounties are gold.

All you have to do to start them is choose the required combination of heroes.

After that, come back to the Bounty Board when the bounty is done to collect your rewards.

Make sure to start all the bounties that you can, as they are an easy way to get gold.

Especially make sure to start all team bounties that you can, as they give many more rewards.

Arcane Labyrinth

Also located inside the Dark Forest, the Arcane Labyrinth is another way to earn gold in AFK Arena.

Every tile in the Arcane Labyrinth with a chest on is a team of enemies you can challenge.

When you beat a team of enemies, you get a reward, which includes gold.

As there are a lot of enemies to fight in the Arcane Labyrinth, you can earn a lot of gold there.

Voyage of Wonders

The Voyage of Wonders is a collection of puzzles to complete.

You can access the Voyage of Wonders inside the Dark Forest.

Through each puzzle in the Voyage of Wonders, you’ll be fighting enemies and finding chests.

Some of these chests contain gold, depending on what voyage you are doing.

As only one or a few voyages are open at a time, you might not always be able to get gold in the Voyage of Wonders simply because not all voyages have gold as a reward.

Battle Wager

An interesting way you can get more gold in AFK Arena is by doing Battle Wagers.

A Battle Wager is where you bet on who will win a battle in a PvP tournament.

You can do Battle Wagers by going to the Arena of Heroes, choosing an active tournament, and clicking Battle Wager in the top right corner.

AFK Arena – Best Teams 2024 & Team Building Guide https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-teams-team-building-guide/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-teams-team-building-guide/#comments Sun, 07 Feb 2021 23:37:39 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=4134 Building the ultimate team is the single most important task in AFK Arena, a task you’ll be undertaking throughout your entire journey.

With a total of 90 unique Legendary and Ascended heroes in the game, each with a unique set of skills, and many factors to consider, building the best team can quickly become a complex job.

To help you build your team in AFK Arena, we’ve created this guide giving you guidance on important factors to consider and the best team-building strategy for the early/mid, and late/end game.

Table of contents

Best teams for Campaign & PvE

Here are the best teams for the Campaign and PvE (Labyrinth, King’s Tower, Peaks of Time, and Voyage of Wonders) in AFK Arena.

Team 1

AFK Arena Best Team For PvE and Campaign God Comp
  • Talene (Top Frontline)
  • Rowan (Bottom Frontline)
  • Ezizh (Bottom Backline)
  • Mehira (Middle Backline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Top Backline)

This late/end game team is the strongest version of the widely used god comp strategy.

What makes this team incredibly strong is the fast energy recharge from Rowan and Elijah & Lailah, which causes Ezizh to quickly cycle through his skills, silencing the enemy team from using ultimate abilities.

Furthermore, this team has plenty of health regeneration, which is boosted by the energy regeneration by Rowan and Elijah & Lailah.

Many top players of AFK Arena who’ve progressed far into the campaign use this team late/end game team.

Team 2

AFK Arena Best Team For PvE and Campaign Burst Comp
  • Eirron (Top Frontline)
  • Zolrath (Bottom Frontline)
  • Lorsan (Bottom Backline)
  • Lyca (Middle Backline)
  • Gwyneth (Top Backline)

This burst team is also incredibly powerful for the late/end game campaign and the rest of PvE.

Unlike the god comp strategy, which relies on stalling the enemy and sustaining throughout a battle, the burst comp here aims to quickly burst down the enemy team.

Therefore, you see a lot of incredible burst heroes on this team like Eironn and Lorsan.

Furthermore, this team works well as the heroes complement each others’ active abilities. Both Eironn, Gwyneth, and Lyca can push or pool enemies close together, allowing all heroes on the team to deal more damage, as they all have AoE skills.

This team composition is also used often with Zaphrael instead of Gwyneth.

Team 3

AFK Arena Best Team For PvE and Campaign Saurus Comp
  • Elijah & Lailah (Top Frontline)
  • Rowan (Bottom Frontline)
  • Saurus (Bottom Backline)
  • Tasi (Middle Backline)
  • Lyca (Top Backline)

This entire late/end game team revolves around Saurus and getting him stacked up.

That’s the reason why this team has three support heroes – to help sustain Saurus, boosting him, and allowing him to get stacks so he can deal a ton of damage.

Lyca also deals a decent amount of damage as well as brings some useful buffs and defense reduction, but Saurus is the star of this team.

Best teams for PvP

Here are the best team for PvP in AFK Arena.

Team 1

AFK Arena Best Team For PvP Ainz Comp
  • Elijah & Lailah (Top Frontline)
  • Albedo (Bottom Frontline)
  • Ainz Ooal Gown (Bottom Backline)
  • Rowan (Middle Backline)
  • Ezizh (Top Backline)

This late/end game PvP team is a variation of the powerful god comp that you see in PvE a lot.

What’s different in this setup is that a lot of the healing and crowd control has been replaced with damage in the form of Ainz Ooal Gown, one of the most powerful damage dealers in AFK Arena and Albedo.

Having Albedo on the team will further sustain Ainz as her shield prioritizes Ainz if he is on the field, making him the star of this team comp.

This PvP team is a great mixture of high damage output and crowd control/sustain.

Team 2

AFK Arena Best Team For PvP Ainz and Mortas Comp
  • Arthur (Top Frontline)
  • Talene (Bottom Frontline)
  • Ainz Ooal Gown (Bottom Backline)
  • Mortas (Middle Backline)
  • Albedo (Top Backline)

This late/end game PvP team also revolves around Ainz, which most late/end game PvP teams do.

The strategy of this team is to keep Mortas alive for long enough to use his buff, so Ainz’s damage output is heavily boosted.

For the rest of the match, the objective is to keep Ainz alive and support him with shields, healing, and damage negation.

Team 3

AFK Arena Best Team For PvP Athalia and Alna Comp
  • Alna (Top Frontline)
  • Ferael (Bottom Frontline)
  • Lucretia (Bottom Backline)
  • Silas (Middle Backline)
  • Athalia (Top Backline)

This is a more balanced PvP team for late/end game, whose driving point is Athalia taking out enemy backline heroes.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team dishes out various support, including Alna’s haste boost and Silas’ healing.

Lucretia’s damage over time slowly deteriorates enemies while Ferael keeps enemies in check with lots of crowd control.

Overall a solid, well-balanced PvP team without any Dimensional heroes, so you can build it even if you don’t have Ainz Ooal Gown and Albedo.

Best teams for Guild Hunt

Here are the best teams for the bosses in the Guild Hunt in AFK Arena.

Team 1

AFK Arena Best Team For Guild Hunt Saurus and Belinda Comp
  • Belinda (Top Frontline)
  • Saurus (Bottom Frontline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Bottom Backline)
  • Rosaline (Middle Backline)
  • Lorsan (Top Backline)

This Guild Hunt team is one of the strongest you can build in the game.

It revolves around Saurus, Belinda, and Rosaline dishing out the vast majority of the damage with support from Elijah & Lailah, and Rosaline.

Lorsan will also deal a great amount of damage but not as much as Belinda, Rosaline, and Saurus.

To make this team as effective as it can be, you need to have Belinda’s furniture that boosts the damage of her Divine Light skill by 30%.

Team 2

AFK Arena Best Team For Guild Hunt Mortas and Raine Comp
  • Saurus (Top Frontline)
  • Rosaline (Bottom Frontline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Bottom Backline)
  • Mortas (Middle Backline)
  • Raine (Top Backline)

This is another extremely powerful team for Guild Hunt, which is on par with the previous one.

It is similar to the previous team in that Saurus will be the main source of damage with the help of Rosaline while getting support from Elijah & Lailah.

In this team, however, the two damage dealers have been replaced by Mortas and Raine, who both give incredible buffs that boost Saurus’ and Rosaline’s damage output.

Best teams for Twisted Realm

Here are the best teams for the Twisted Realm in AFK Arena.

Team 1

AFK Arena Best Team For Twisted Realm Saurus and Grezhul Daimon Comp
  • Saurus (Top Frontline)
  • Grezhul (Bottom Frontline)
  • Mehira (Bottom Backline)
  • Daimon (Middle Backline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Top Backline)

This Twisted Realm is very effective against several of the bosses in the Twisted Realm, especially The Unhinged, Ice Shemeria, and Burning Brute.

Saurus will be the main source of damage on this team with the support of Elijah & Lailah as well as Mehira, while Grezhul and Daimon provide great utility, tankiness, and control.

Team 2

AFK Arena Best Team For Twisted Realm Warek and Ezizh Comp
  • Saurus (Top Frontline)
  • Cecilia (Bottom Frontline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Bottom Backline)
  • Warek (Middle Backline)
  • Ezizh (Top Backline)

This Twisted Realm team composition is one that’s become popular among top players, even though you probably wouldn’t think of it yourself.

The core of this team is Saurus and Cecilia, with support from Elijah & Lailah.

What makes this team so special is the Warek pick, a hero not often used except for some bosses.

Specifically, it’s his skill Bonebreaker, which reduces the enemy’s defense rating, and later on, greatly reduces the enemy’s defense rating while also stunning them.

This defense reduction greatly increases the damage your heroes deal to the enemy, making it essentially a damage buff for your team.

Lastly, Ezizh is useful here because of his silence, which is almost essential to have against some bosses because of their powerful skills.

Best teams for Abyssal Expedition

Here are the best teams for the Abyssal Expedition in AFK Arena.

For the general battles against normal heroes, just use a team that is strong in PvE, like the ones shown earlier in this guide.

The following teams are for the bosses in the Abyssal Expedition.

Team 1

AFK Arena Best Team For Abyssal Expedition Eironn and Cecilia Comp
  • Eironn (Top Frontline)
  • Cecilia (Bottom Frontline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Bottom Backline)
  • Rowan (Middle Backline)
  • Lyca (Top Backline)

In this team, the core is Eironn and Cecilia, who brings a bunch of damage, while Elijah & Lailah, and Rowan spam energy regeneration.

Lyca will also deal a decent amount of damage but comes in handy with her utility, including buffing and lowering of the enemy’s defense.

This composition is an overall solid team against bosses in the Abyssal Expedition.

Team 2

AFK Arena Best Team For Abyssal Expedition Warek and Saurus Comp
  • Saurus (Top Frontline)
  • Eironn (Bottom Frontline)
  • Warek (Bottom Backline)
  • Elijah & Lailah (Middle Backline)
  • Cecilia (Top Backline)

Another powerful team for the Abyssal Expedition is this, which uses Warek for his indirect damage buff for your team, as he greatly reduces the defense of the enemy.

In this team, we have even more damage by having both Saurus, Eironn, and Cecilia.

The last hero on the team is Elijah & Lailah, who is always a great pick because of their incredible support and energy regeneration boost.

Team building factors

When building a team in AFK Arena, there are several factors that affect how well that team will perform in the game.

Furthermore, a team that performs well in the campaign in the end game might not do as well in the Guild Hunt.

Therefore, most players build several teams later on in the game to optimize their gameplay for each part of the game.

Nonetheless, there are some overall factors that you should consider when building any team in the game.

These are the factors that affect how your team performs in AFK Arena:

It is important to consider these factors when building your team, but unlike some other RPG hero-collector mobile games, the individual power of heroes has a lot of influence on your team’s power in AFK Arena.

This doesn’t mean you can simply bring five top-tier attacker heroes.

But, in most cases, it will not be worth it to sacrifice having a top-tier hero like Rowan, Daimon, or Ainz on your team, just so you can reach a better balance of factions, etc.

Here is a short rundown of what the different factors are and how they affect your team’s power.

Individual power of heroes

The individual power of heroes in AFK Arena is a very important factor when choosing who to bring on your team.

You can easily find the individual power of a hero, how good they are, in each category of the game in our AFK Arena Tier List.

A hero’s individual power or potential is not determined purely by their damage out, but rather how well they perform in a specific part of the game.

For example, Rowan, who is one of the best heroes in AFK Arena, doesn’t have a great damage output himself, but his supportive abilities are so powerful and useful that he is S+ tier in every single category of the game.

In other words, Rowan increases your team’s chance of beating levels by so much that he deserves the title of being S+.

Other heroes that are among the best in the game include:

  • Elijah & Lailah
  • Talene
  • Ainz Ooal Gown
  • Daimon
  • Eironn

When you are looking to fill a specific role or position on your team, we highly recommend you look for top-tier heroes that meet or are close to meeting the factors you are looking for, as this will most often result in the best team.

Faction advantages

In AFK Arena, all heroes belong to one of seven factions:

  • Lightbearers
  • Maulers
  • Wilders
  • Graveborns
  • Celestials
  • Hypogeans
  • Dimensionals

The faction advantages system in AFK Arena has two buffs.

One is purely based on what factions fight each other while the second is dependent on the composition of factions on your team.

The first part of the faction advantages system makes most factions deal 25% extra damage to another faction while taking extra damage from a third faction.

There are also special factions that deal and take 25% extra damage from the same faction, while one doesn’t deal extra nor takes extra damage from any faction.

Here is a rundown of how each faction is affected by the faction advantage system.

  • Lightbearers deal 25% extra damage to Maulers and take 25% extra damage from Graveborns.
  • Maulers deal 25% extra damage to Wilders and take 25% extra damage from Lightbearers.
  • Wilders deal 25% extra damage to Gravesborns and take 25% extra damage from Maulers.
  • Graveborns deal 25% extra damage to Lightbearers and take 25% extra damage from Wilders.
  • Celestials deal 25% extra damage to Hypogeans and take 25% extra damage from Hypogeans as well.
  • Hypogeans deal 25% extra damage to Celestials and take 25% extra damage from Celestials as well.
  • Dimensionals are unaffected by factions, which means that they don’t deal extra damage to any faction nor take extra damage from any faction.

The damage buff heroes get from this can be a deciding factor in battle, especially if you have a lot of heroes of, for example, the Lightbearers faction, and you face a team full of Graveborns.

Therefore, you should keep in mind the composition of factions on your team as well as on your enemies’ when creating your team.

We have observed some players having success with having a lot of heroes of the same faction, but it does come with an increased risk, of course.

The second part of the faction advantages system is the faction team buff.

If the number of heroes of the same faction on your team meets certain criteria, every single hero on your team gets a buff.

Here you can see the different compositions you need to unlock each buff.

  • 3 Heroes of the same faction on your team gives +10% ATK and +10% HP.
  • 3 Heroes of the same faction and 2 heroes of another faction on your team gives +15% ATK and +15% HP.
  • 4 Heroes of the same faction on your team gives +15% ATK and +20% HP.
  • 5 Heroes of the same faction on your team gives +25% ATK and +25% HP.
  • Celestial heroes can count as either Graveborn, Lightbearer, Wilder, or Mauler.
  • Hypogean heroes don’t affect the above-listed compositions. Instead they give buffs dependent on the number of Hypogeans on the team. (1+ = +30% Defense, 2+ = +25% Energy recovered when injured, 3+ = +15% Crit Rating, 4+ = +30% Critical Strike Damage, 5+ = +15 Haste)

As you can tell, you can get your team a quite useful buff by meeting the requirements of the buffs listed above.

However, as mentioned, in most cases, it’s not worth it to go for an extreme faction buff at the sacrifice of a top-tier hero.

Learn more about faction advantage in our AFK Arena Faction Advantages Guide.

Balance of roles

Considering the different roles of heroes is also important when building your team in AFK Arena.

There are three overall classes that players refer to:

  • Attackers
  • Tanks
  • Support

The actual roles or classes of heroes in the game are:

  • Tanks
  • Warriors
  • Rangers
  • Support
  • Mage

Rangers, Mages, and most Warriors are considered attackers, Support heroes support, and Tanks, of course, tanks.

You should make sure your team has a balance of the three overall roles, as a team consisting solely of support heroes will have a lot of utility but not enough damage output to ever take out most teams.

We’ve found that most top players use one support hero at the middle position on the backline, one tank hero on the frontline on any position, and then attacker heroes for the remaining three spots.

This is, of course, a very large generalization, as we’ve also observed a lot of amazing and successful teams utilizing more support heroes, no tank, etc.

Synergy between heroes

With so many unique heroes in the game, it’s no wonder that many interesting and powerful synergies between heroes have arisen.

Synergy is when two or more heroes on your team complement each other resulting in a powerful combo or a higher damage output.

To give you an idea of what these synergies can look like in the game, we’ve gathered some examples:

  • Eironn using his active skill to pull enemies into Safiya’s barrier to reduce enemies’ haste and attack while increasing your own heroes’ attack.
  • A hero like Hendrik to push enemy frontline heroes to the enemy backline for Gwyneth to also hit them with her backline-arrow attack.
  • Ezizh using his skill Horrify to silence enemies from using their active skill with the help of energy-regening heroes like Elijah & Lailah, and Rowan.
  • Life leeching heroes paired with Khasos, who boosts the life leeched by allies.

There are many other synergies in the game for you to explore.

If you choose to use a specific hero combo/synergy on your team, we recommend you build your team around that and not just plug it into an already existing team.

Many top players of AFK Arena try to find synergies in the game to counter specific popular team setups in the end game, showing how useful they can be.

Early and mid game team building

Unlike what you might expect, the most effective and most commonly used team-building strategy early game is to focus on one hero on your team.

This one hero that you’ll be focusing on will be the carry of your team and will deal almost all damage in battles throughout the early and mid game.

The rest of the heroes on your team are not unimportant but should be more focused on support, boosting, or helping your carry hero rather than being a carry themselves.

Though it might seem strange, it is no problem that you have a hero or two on your team early game that doesn’t do much in terms of damage or support.

You can easily and will have the easiest time progressing in the early and mid game by primarily focusing on one carry hero.

As you’ll be putting so much focus on only one hero, we strongly recommend choosing one that is extremely powerful early game and is thereby suitable to act as the carry.

Some of the best heroes to choose as the carry early and mid are the following:

  • Saveas
  • Shemira
  • Saurus
  • Brutus
  • Daimon
  • Athalia

Other heroes we’ve found are great carries early game include Wu Kong, Ainz, and Vedan.

You can find more heroes for the early and mid game in our AFK Arena Tier Lists.

So does focusing on a carry hero mean you shouldn’t level up your other heroes on your team? No, you should also level up those.

However, contrary to what most people would intuitively do, your carry hero should be fed most of your resources, and it’s no problem with them being 30 or more levels above the rest of your heroes.

Having a carry hero with self-healing abilities will make your time progressing through the early and mid game even easier.

It is not a requirement for carry heroes, though, in which case you would greatly benefit from having a support hero or two on your team with healing abilities.

Late and end game team building

As you reach the late and end game in AFK Arena, you can no longer rely on a single carry hero when building a team.

Because enemies become so strong in terms of power points compared to you, the farther into the game you progress, you have to have a very strong and optimized team to keep progressing.

For this to happen, you need to have a team consisting of top-tier heroes that complement each over well in terms of synergy and balance of roles, factions, etc.

Therefore, we recommend that you go about building your team for the end game in the following way.

Find two or more top-tier heroes of the game that synergies well with each other and that can act as the core of your team’s strategy.

Then, find other top-tier or close to top-tier heroes to add to the team depending on its current needs or shortcomings.

This part can be difficult and will require experimentation, which you can do by trying different setups.

Features such as the Resonating Crystal can help you try different heroes on your team without spending a ton of resources.

Some of the popular heroes and synergies you’ll often see people use late game include:

  • Burst comp with Eirron and Lorsan
  • God comps with Rowan, Elijah & Lailah, and Ezizh
  • Setup for Saurus or Ainz comp

When you find a strong team composition that works, you might at one point experience that it stops being as effective, especially in PvP, and that is because the meta evolves.

In the end game, many teams are similar in composition and use a lot of the same heroes, which causes players to constantly look for counters to popular setups.

Therefore, you should expect other players to try to find weaknesses in your team, forcing you to continuously try to optimize and prepare for a new meta and new team compositions in AFK Arena.

AFK Arena – Best Heroes Tier List 2024 Patch 1.136 https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-heroes-tier-list/ https://gamerempire.net/afk-arena-best-heroes-tier-list/#comments Mon, 25 Jan 2021 01:59:00 +0000 https://gamerempire.net/?p=4044 With an incredible number of unique heroes in AFK Arena, it’s no easy task to build a team of just five heroes.

Because of this, we’ve created this tier list to give you guidance when choosing what heroes to use on your team and invest your resources into.

When creating your main team later on in the game, you should, however, also keep other factors in mind than just the individual strength of each hero.

Some of the very best heroes overall in the end game in AFK Arena include awakened Athalia and awakened Belinda, Ivan, and Liberta. If you obtain any of these heroes, you can easily use them for the long term.

Note that these are just some of the top-tier heroes for the late and end game. There are several others that are just as good as these and some that are better in specific game modes.

AFK Arena Tier List

In the following tier list, we rank every single hero in AFK Arena based on their performance in the four main areas of the game in the late/end game.

In the following tier list, all ascended heroes are ranked in tiers from F to S+, which represents how strong the hero is currently in terms of power, utility, or support.

While each hero is assigned only one overall rank, which takes into account their strength as a whole in formations late-game, some heroes do perform well in one certain aspect because of a special ability, etc., but not in others, giving them a lower overall rank.

The current tier list is based on the rankings by Furry Hippy Gaming and input from the AFK Arena community.

Even though a tier list like this one is excellent guidance when creating a team, you should keep other factors in mind as well when creating your end-game team.

Learn more about how to optimally build your team in our AFK Arena team building guide.

Legendary heroes are not ranked in the tier list above, as they cannot reach higher than level 160, making them useless late-game. Some legendary heroes, including Vedan, Saveas, and Arden, can be great for progressing early game up to level 160.

But beyond that, they aren’t of much use and should be sacrificed to power up another ascended hero.

Here is a quick rundown of what each tier represents.

S Tier – Heroes in the S tier are the best in the game. These heroes perform exceptionally well and should be used if you pull any.

A Tier – Heroes in the A tier perform well above the average hero. These heroes are very strong and will help you significantly throughout your journey.

B Tier – Heroes in the B tier perform as you’d expect. They aren’t particularly strong but aren’t weak by any means either. B-tier heroes can be a great addition to your team if you need a specific set of abilities, etc.

C Tier – Heroes in the C tier perform below average with little potential for late game. As you want to replace these heroes sooner rather than later, you shouldn’t upgrade them too much.

D Tier – Heroes in the D tier are the weakest and least useful in the game. We don’t recommend spending resources on these heroes as you want to replace them as soon as you get something better.

A + or – means the hero is better or worse than their assigned tier. Thus, an S+ hero is even better than an S-tier hero.

That’s our take on a tier list of the best heroes in AFK Arena, as well as the best attacker, tank, support, and carry heroes in the game.
