Here is how to use the Army Experience cheat in HOI4:
- Open the console by pressing ~ on the keyboard. This is impossible in Ironman Mode.
- Write xp and press Enter.
This should instantly give you the maximum amount of Army, Navy, and Air Experience you can get for the chosen country.
Players can also control the amount of experience they get by writing a number after xp. For example, xp 100 would give you 100 Army, Navy, and Air Experience.
You can also lower the amount of experience you have by writing negative numbers. xp -100 would remove 100 Army, Navy, and Air Experience for your country.
How to Increase Experience of Divisions With Cheats
If what you are looking for isn’t the cheat to increase Army Experience and you actually just want to increase the Experience Level of your divisions, then here is your only choice.
There is no way to increase the Experience Level of divisions in HOI4 using cheats. However, you can instantly deploy troops in training at Experience Level 3.
So, here is what you should do:
- Disband all the divisions you want to increase the Experience Level of.
- In the Recruit & Deploy menu, add them for recruitment.
- Open the console by pressing ~ on the keyboard.
- Write instanttraining and press Enter.
- Wait 24 hours.
This will instantly deploy the troops you’ve added for recruitment at level 3 Experience, but all the other countries in the game will also benefit from this cheat.
So, if you don’t want to help the AI, then your best bet is to train troops manually, as you would in a normal HOI4 game session.
