Being an Ironman in Old School RuneScape means that you need to gather everything yourself. From skilling materials to gear upgrades, you are not allowed to trade with other players, effectively providing you a “single-player” OSRS experience.
Bonds in RuneScape allow a player to redeem two weeks of membership for their account. Not only can they be bought with real-world money, but bonds can also be purchased with in-game currency (typically between 6m-10m a bond).

Which begs the question: can Ironmen buy bonds at all?
Yes, Ironman can buy bonds on the Grand Exchange in OSRS. Furthermore, other players can use bonds on an Ironman to redeem them, however Ironman cannot give a bond to another player in Old School RuneScape.

Can Ironman Buy Bonds in OSRS?
In Old School RuneScape, Ironman accounts are unable to trade with other players. This also includes using the Grand Exchange to purchase items.
However, there is a slight exception to this.
When it comes to purchasing bonds, Ironman accounts are still able to use their in-game gp to buy them from the Grand Exchange (in fact, it’s the only item they are allowed to buy from there).
Alternatively, there may be cases where a regular account may want to redeem a bond for an Ironman account (for example, a main account using their earned gp for their Ironman account).
In this case, any account may use a freshly purchased bond on an Ironman account so they may redeem it. This will transfer the bond to the Ironman and make it so the bond can no longer be tradable.
Vice versa, Ironman accounts are unable to trade, transfer, or convert bonds to any other account, regardless of the destination account’s status.
As for using real-world money to purchase a bond, any account is able to do so. Bonds for Old School RuneScape can be purchased from the account store on their website or the Account Management tab in your in-game hub.
More importantly, be certain that you are accessing the official Old School RuneScape website before making any purchases. If you are unsure, access the store through the in-game menu to be redirected to the correct site.
