When Does Summer Start and End in DST?
Summer will be your fourth season in the playthrough if you use the default season settings. So, you have plenty of time to prepare for it.
In Don’t Starve Together, the Summer lasts 15 days, and the first Summer starts from day 56 to 70.
With a default year cycle of 70 days, we can calculate the Summer season will happen in:
- The second Summer: Day 126 to 175.
- The third Summer: Day 196 to 245.
- The fourth Summer: Day 266 to 315.
- And so on!
The server’s settings determine the length of the Summer. Below is the list of all settings and how they affect Summer’s duration.
- Very Short: 5 days.
- Short: 10 days.
- Default: 15 days.
- Long: 22 days.
- Very Long: 40 days.

When Does Winter Start and End in DST?
In Don’t Starve Together, Summer and Winter are the harsh seasons, so they only last for 15 days by default (compared to 20 days for Autumn and Spring).
Winter is also the second season you’ll face, so it’s quite a rush to prepare for it.
The first Winter starts from day 21 to 35, and the cycle repeats every 70 days, just like the Summer.
