How To Get Ingredients in Fire Emblem Engage
Ingredients can be obtained through two different methods in Fire Emblem Engage.
The first way to get your hands on some ingredients is by exploring battlefields and picking them up from sparkling terrain patches.
You can also receive Ingredients from animals you have adopted and relocated into Somniel’s Farmyard, as these animals occasionally drop goods and ingredients.
For this reason, it’s always helpful to check on the animals whenever you have a moment to wander around Somniel.
How To Cook in Fire Emblem Engage & All Benefits, Explained
To cook in Fire Emblem Engage, first head to Café Terrace at Somniel. Once after every battle, you can order a meal from the character behind the counter and enjoy it alongside your choice of up to two allies.
After you finish dining with these allies, your bond with them will increase, and their Support Levels will be raised.
Each unit also has their own preferences for specific meals, so you can match these to your allies to increase Support levels further.
When making a meal order, first, you select a dish from the menu and any extra ingredients and toppings you would like to add to it.
Additional ingredients and toppings add a chance of providing increased temporary stat buffs to the allies that consume the dish, and different dishes will provide various buffs in general, so you can use this to your advantage to target specific stats.
When a dish is cooked well, you will also receive a bento of leftovers from the dish for your inventory. You can use this bento later, during combat, to heal a portion of HP in battle.
If a bento remains unconsumed after your next battle, it will be thrown away, as the leftovers will have spoiled.
