Players may choose to migrate from one kingdom to another for several reasons, including looking for better opportunities and being closer to their friends.
By default, players only have the freedom to teleport within their kingdom, but players can move to any kingdom with the right requirements.
You need passport pages to migrate to another kingdom in Rise of Kingdoms. Before you start migrating, you should identify the kingdom that you wish to move to, check if you meet their requirements as well as the general requirements, and then click on the immigration button – more information below.

What is the migration system
The migration system in Rise of Kingdoms allows you to migrate to another kingdom in the game.
Every kind of migration requires passport pages. In most cases, you will need one passport page for migration, but it may not always be the case.
To be sure, check the number of passport pages needed to immigrate to the kingdom you are relocating to.
Here’s how to check for passport requirements;
- Select the kingdom you want to migrate to.
- Click on the immigrate button.
- On the page that pops up, you will see all the requirements, including the number of passport pages.
The truth is passport pages do not come easy.
Not only are they hard to acquire, but they are also very expensive to buy.
And if you are very powerful, they will cost you more.
However, you can buy them in the alliance shop, or they can come as part of the New World Bundle.
How to migrate
If you have enough passport pages and meet all the other requirements, you are ready to migrate.
To migrate in Rise of Kingdoms, zoom out on the map, and in the bottom right corner, you will see a globe – click it and choose the kingdom you want to immigrate to from the list that pops up.
You can then click immigrate, and you will be able to start over with your city in another kingdom.
If you find out that your power cap exceeds the Migration power cap of your desired kingdom, you can simply ask the King to make adjustments for you.
You should also make sure your preferred kingdom is developed.
Otherwise, you will not be able to migrate to that kingdom.
“Developed” kingdoms are those that have been in existence for longer than the kingdom you belong to.
It must have also been open for at least 120 days.
It’s also important to note that you will not be able to immigrate from the lost kingdom.
You must go back to your main kingdom and immigrate to your desired kingdom from there.
Migration requirements
There are a couple of requirements that you have to meet before you can migrate in Rise of Kingdoms.
Here are the requirements:
- You must not be a member of any alliance.
- You should empty all your march queues.
- The protection capacity of your storehouse should exceed all the resources you possess at the time of immigration.
- Both your city and your troops should not be in combat.
- You should be on or above level 16 (City hall).
- You should have the required number of passport pages depending on your projected power ranking.
- If you meet all these requirements, you can simply click “migrate”.
Once you immigrate, your city will appear in a random place in the kingdom you chose, and you can then start over.
All the points you’ve acquired from event participation will also be reset to zero.
You will have to wait at least 30 days after your last migration to go through the migration process again.
Therefore, you should make sure that you actually want to migrate before going through with it.
Tips to reduce power and spend fewer passport pages
Passport pages are expensive, and this makes migration quite costly.
The stakes are high because you can only migrate occasionally.
Before you make that crucial decision, make sure you have gathered enough information about your preferred kingdom.
You can familiarize yourself with the people in that kingdom by creating a temporary character.
We recommend that you minimize the number of passports needed for migration as much as possible.
For example, you need 20 passport pages for migration if you are power 49M.
On the contrary, you will need 25 passport pages if you are power 50M.
That’s an extra five pages for only a difference of one million.
You can reduce your power by injuring your troops and sending them all to the hospital.
If you are close to the cutoff point of passport pages requirement, you might be able to make migration cheaper by doing this.
Another way to reduce your power is to avoid using speedups.
If you stop using speedups, your power will reduce, and you might be able to spend less on passport pages during immigration.
That’s how to migrate in Rise of Kingdoms!

I want to migrate to another kingdom. Mine is preparing for kvk 3. In 2 days starts the matching phase. The kingdom i want to move to is in kvk1 which finishes in 3 days. Will i be able to migrate in 3 days? Or because my kingdom enters matching phase i will not?
Thank you very much
I’m 2356 kingdom. After participating in last kvk, I was contacted by the king to tell me: your participation in kvk was bad, you did not fight as we expected, so you should migrate.
Honestly, I didn’t think he was talking that seriously, I mean, he said “should migrate”; if it was a direct order he had to say : “you must migrate”. Yesterday, i was kicked out of alliance and this king attacked me and my power was reduce by 7 million. I am still there, alone and I don’t know how to migrate. I do have a passport that I just bought now, but I don’t know how to use passport.
