Where Does Penny Live in Stardew Valley?
Usually, the best way to find where someone is located in Stardew Valley is to wait in front of their house when they start their day.
The exact time when an NPC leaves their house can be very different, but this is what this guide will help you with. Penny lives in the Trailer right to the East of Stardrop Saloon.
The reason why most players will likely miss where Penny lives in Stardew Valley is because the map doesn’t say that this is her home. If you hover over most of the houses on the map, it will say that it is the “Home of” some villagers.

Luckily, she spends most of her time inside the Trailer, so you should find her relatively easily. If she isn’t inside the “house,” she is likely spending time with the kids of Pelican Town.

Where to Find Penny – Penny’s Daily Schedule
Most NPCs in Stardew Valley have a relatively basic schedule that is easy to follow and remember.
Luckily, Penny has one of the easiest schedules in Stardew Valley, and you should find her relatively easily. Here is exactly what she does during the Spring:
On Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, she will leave the Trailer at 8 AM and read next to the Graveyard.
She returns home at 12:30 PM and leaves home again at 4 PM to stand outside the Saloon with Maru. After a bit of time, she will leave to get to the Trailer at 6:40 PM.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Penny will leave the Trailer at 9 AM to teach the kids in the Museum.
At 2 PM she will leave the Museum with the kids and stand next to the bridge until 4:20 PM, when she brings the kids back to their homes.
On Saturdays, Penny will leave the Trailer at 10 AM to meet up with the kids next to the Graveyard.
They go together to the playground next to the Community Center at around 12 PM, and she will leave them off at 5 PM close to Haley’s house.
Summer isn’t that different for Penny, as she keeps her Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday schedules exactly the same.
What changes is that she will go every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday to the river, next to JojaMart, at 8 AM, and she will stand close to the Community Center from 2:30 PM to 6 PM when she heads back home.
Luckily, in the Fall and Winter, she keeps the exact same Spring schedule.
Schedule Deviations
If you manage to fix the Community Center in Stardew Valley, Penny will change her schedule a bit.
On Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, she will go to the Community Center rather than the Graveyard to read.
Also, on rainy days, she doesn’t even leave the Trailer. She will spend the whole day inside the house. There is, however, a chance that she will walk through the rain to go to the Museum from 12 to 4 PM to read.
The only other deviations to her tight schedule as the town’s only carpenter are on Winter 4 and 15.
On Winter 4, she leaves her home at 11:30 AM for her yearly check-up at Harvey’s Clinic and starts going back to the house at 4 PM.
On Winter 15, Penny will attend the Night Market on the Beach. She will leave her home at 4 PM and head back at 11:30 PM.
