There are 4 major ideological parties in Hearts of Iron 4 that countries can have at power: Democracy, Fascism, Communism, or Neutrality.
Though there are quite a few ways to influence who is in power, many players often just want to quickly boost the popularity of their chosen party using cheats. Luckily, this is one of the easiest commands to use in HOI4, though it can be quite hard to remember.

To add party popularity using commands in Hearts of Iron 4, write “add_party_popularity”, then write a letter representing one of the four parties (f, c, d, or n), and a number representing the percentage added.

Add Party Popularity Command in HOI4
The command to add party popularity in HOI4 requires the players to use a simple syntax:
add_party_popularity [ideology group] [amount]
So, here’s an example of how to make the communist party the most powerful party in the country: add_party_popularity c 100.
Players can also add lower numbers, anything from 1 to 100. You can also write negative numbers to remove the popularity of a party. For example, add_party_popularity f -10 would remove 10% of the popularity of the Fascists in your country.
Unfortunately, you can’t use this cheat to change the popularity of parties in other countries. To do that, you would first have to tag them.
