At some point, you want to start upgrading your ship in Lost Ark so you can travel around faster and be more resistant to Hazardous Waters.
To upgrade your ship, you need a variety of materials and items, and the higher the level of the ship, the more and higher-grape materials you need.

One of the materials that you need to upgrade your ship in Lost Ark is Ship Parts Materials.
You get Ship Parts Materials in Lost Ark by visiting a Processor NPC, at which you can craft Normal, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Ship Parts Materials with various resources obtained from Trade Skills. Ship Parts Materials are also given from some events like Login Rewards.
Processor NPCs can be found in many major towns, including Luterra Castle. They are indicated by a swirling icon on the World Map and minimap.

How to get Ship Parts Materials in Lost Ark
When you want to upgrade your ship in Lost Ark, you need various materials and items.
Ship Parts Materials are always needed to upgrade a ship’s level, and the higher the level of the ship, the more Ship Parts Materials you need.
There are two ways to obtain Ship Parts Materials in Lost Ark – by visiting a Processor NPC and crafting them there and from events.
Though you can get them from events, the primary way to obtain them is by crafting them at a Processor.
You can find Processor NPCs in major towns like Luterra Castle. To locate them, look for a swirling icon on the World Map or minimap. In Luterra Castle, the Processor Morr is located to the right of Harmony Plaza.
At Processor NPCs, you can craft both the Normal, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic versions of Ship Parts Materials under the Part Materials tab.
Crafting Ship Parts Materials costs various resources that you can obtain from Trade Skills. Here is an overview of what Trade Skills the different resources you need are from:
- Iron Ore – Mining
- Timber – Logging
- Strong Iron Ore – Mining
- Sturdy Timber – Logging
- Heavy Iron Ore – Mining
- Tender Timber – Logging
- Natural Pearl – Fishing
You can click each individual resource to see how to perform the Trade Skill associated with that resource.
Once you have the resources required to craft the rarity of Ship Parts Materials you need, select the amount you wish to craft and click Request at the bottom to craft them. Besides resources, it also costs Gold to craft Ship Parts Materials.
The rewards from some events in Lost Ark include Ship Parts Materials as well, like the Login Rewards system.
When you can get Ship Parts Materials from Login Rewards, it’s usually from Uncommon Ship Enhancement Selection Chests.
Even though you can get some Ship Parts Materials from events, the vast majority of your Ship Parts Materials will come from you crafting them.
It’s great to get some extra from events, but if you’re looking to upgrade your ship quickly, go with crafting.
