Kael champion information

Kael is a powerful mage with lots of AoE and debuffs in the form of poisons.

The faction of Kael is Dark elves, and his affinity is Magic.

He is a rare Attack champion and is among the four that you can choose as your starter champion in the game.

Kael is generally considered the best starter champion to pick, as he will be of immense help when progressing through the game.

Given how strong Kael is, he usually ranks well in tier lists on the best champions in the game.

In battle, Kael has two skills that deal AoE damage, one that damages all enemies and one that damages up to four.

Kael’s kit revolves around his massive AoE damage, but also the powerful poison debuffs that he applies to enemies.

Two of Kael’s skills have a chance to apply the poison debuff, one of which is the second AoE skill that hits up to four enemies (hits 4 times at random).

Because of this reason, many choose to build a lot of the ACC stat on Kael, as his poison debuffs are so powerful.

Best artifacts, sets, and accessories

What gear, known as artifacts in the game, you give Kael greatly impacts his playstyle and overall power.

The best artifacts to use on Kael depends on what situation you wish to build him for.

Here are some of the best artifacts builds for Kael:

• 2 sets of Speed artifacts and one set of Accuracy artifacts
• 2 sets of Speed artifacts and one set of Offense artifacts
• 1 set of Lifesteal artifacts and one set of Offense artifacts

The first two artifact builds are the most widely used and are suitable when using Kael for many purposes in the game while on a team.

The third artifact build with lifesteal is a powerful build if you’re looking to use Kael as your champion for gathering three stars in the Campaign or as a carry in the Campaign or Arena early game.

In terms of specific stats you want to aim for on your artifacts (Gloves, Chest, Boots) for Kael, go for these:

• Crit rate

This list of stats shouldn’t be seen as an absolute priority list, as you want a mixture of all of them.

First of all, you want to get 100% critical rate upon when you max out Kael. You don’t need this much earlier on in the game.

Speed helps Kael move faster and more often in battle, which increases his overall damage output.

Because Kael has the potential to apply so many poison debuffs, having a high accuracy stat is very beneficial.

Lastly, attack % is just a great stat that will greatly increase your damage output.

Skills

Kael has four skills, three active skills, and one aura.

Here is a complete overview of all his skills, their description, as well as the buffs they receive upon being leveled up.

Dark Bolt

Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 80% chance of placing a 2.5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns.

Damage based on: [ATK].

No cooldown.

This attack is Kael’s basic single-target skill that has no cooldown.

• Level 2: Damage +5%
• Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
• Level 4: Damage +5%

Acid Rain

Attacks all enemies. Has an extra 15% chance of inflicting a critical hit. Fill the Turn Meter of this Champion by 25% for each enemy killed.

3 turn cooldown.

Kael’s strongest AoE attack that damages all enemies at once.

• Level 2: Damage +5%
• Level 3: Damage +5%

• Level 5: Damage +5%

Disintegrate

Attacks 4 times at random. Has a 40% chance of placing a 5% [Poison] debuff for 2 turns.

Damage based on: [ATK].

4 turn cooldown.

This skill attacks four times, but not necessarily four different targets.

Furthermore, if there is only one enemy left, this skill is guaranteed to deal damage to that enemy four times, making it powerful against bosses.

• Level 2: Damage +10%
• Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
• Level 4: Damage +10%
• Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%
• Level 6: Cooldown -1

Aura

Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 15%.

This aura buff is only applied to ally champions if Kael is placed in the leader position of your team.

Stat priority

There are several stats that greatly benefit Kael’s overall damage output.

Therefore, you cannot prioritize only one stat.

You need to build all of the following:

• Speed
• Debuff accuracy (ACC)
• Critical rate
• Attack %

These are the most important stats for Kael.

You want to have 100% critical rate when you’ve maxed out Kael to rank 6 fully ascended.

The rest of the stats are all great for Kael, but you don’t want to focus exclusively on one of them.
