There are a lot of villagers in Stardew Valley that you can befriend if you spend the necessary time talking to them and getting to know them. Some of these villagers are more interesting than others, as they have a lot of backstory hiding in plain sight.
One interesting character that all players will want to befriend is Lewis. The more you get to know the mayor of Pelican Town, the more you will wonder how he managed to get that position.

Though Lewis is the mayor of the town, there is no Town Hall or something similar where you might find him.

Where Does Lewis Live in Stardew Valley?
Usually, the best way to find where someone is located in Stardew Valley is to wait in front of their house when they start their day.
The exact time when an NPC leaves their house can be very different, but this is what this guide will help you with.
Lewis lives in a big house next to the Stardrop Saloon in Pelican Town. You can see his house on the map as the “Mayor’s Manor,” which we’ve shown in the image above.
If you know how to get to Pierre’s Store, then just go to the southeast from there, toward the bridge next to the Blacksmith, and you will find Lewis’ Manor. You can also see how his house looks in the image at the top of this guide.
If you manage to restore the Community Center, then he will spend most of his time there. Check inside the building during the day, as he will mostly be staring at the Vault.

Where is Lewis Located in the Spring?
Most NPCs in Stardew Valley have a relatively basic schedule that is easy to follow and remember.
Lewis will generally leave his manor at around the same time every day, but his destination will always be different.
Every Monday, Lewis will wake up and leave his manor at 10 AM. He will then visit one of the three local stores (Pierre, Robin, or Willy) and leave to get back home at 4 PM.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, he keeps to a similar schedule, as he leaves the manor at 10 AM, only to stop in front of it to do some gardening.
From around 12:30 to 4 PM, you can find him inside Pierre’s Store on Tuesdays, and outside the shop, on Thursdays and Sundays.
On Fridays, he will first hang around in front of the shop for a few hours and then head over to the fountain next to the Community Center.
At 9:30 he will enter the Stardrop Saloon and he will stay there until around 11 PM.
Wednesday is the day that you won’t have many chances to find Lewis, as he spends most of the day, until 4 PM, at Marnie’s Ranch.
Saturday is the only day he doesn’t get close to Pierre’s Store, as he leaves the manor at 10 AM and hangs around and inside the Blacksmith and Museum, coming home at around 4 PM.
So, Stardew Valley’s mayor, Lewis, is usually located close to Pierre’s Store. The easiest way to catch him is to wait in front of his manor close to 10 AM, as that is the moment he will usually leave the house.
Where is Lewis Located in the Summer?
Though Lewis has a relatively diverse schedule, it is consistent going into other seasons.
During the Summer, Lewis will usually be located at the same locations you would find him during the Spring.
He still checks in on the local shops on Mondays and walks around Pierre’s and the doctor’s on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
On Wednesday, he still is inside Marnie’s Ranch until 4 PM and on Saturday he checks on the Blacksmith and the Museum.
The only thing that changes is that, on Sundays, he goes on the pier at the Beach, rather than visiting the tree next to the Clinic.
During the Summer, Lewis is still easiest to find either at his house at 10 AM. As long as you don’t need him for anything on a Wednesday, you should be good.
Where is Lewis Located in the Fall?
Lewis’ schedule in the Fall is one of the worst ones to follow in Stardew Valley. There is almost no way to figure out where he is without a guide such as this one.
Let’s start with the simple schedule. On Mondays, he will only visit Robin’s store, leaving his manor at 10 AM, and arriving back at 4:50 PM.
On Tuesdays, he will just stand around the manor, never getting too far from it.
However, on Tuesday, Fall 9th, he will go to the Clinic and then sleep over at Marnie’s Ranch. On Tuesday, Fall 23rd, he will spend the afternoon at Pierre’s Store.
On normal Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, Lewis will stand close to the Clinic and Pierre’s Store, going back home at around 4 PM. However, on Wednesday Fall 3rd, he won’t even leave his house and on Wednesday Fall 24th, he will visit Marnie.
Every Friday, the mayor will stand by the fountain for most of the day, close to Harvey’s Clinic, and then head over to the Saloon from 6 to 11 PM.
On Sundays, Lewis will head over to Leah’s Cottage and stand close to the river all day, coming back home to his manor at 4 PM.
Considering his chaotic schedule, every Tuesday besides the 9th and 23rd would be amazing to locate Lewis, as he will just be inside his house. Otherwise, just check around the town square.
Where is Lewis Located in the Winter?
As always, Lewis likes to walk around, no matter if the weather is horrible or amazing. On Mondays, players can find Lewis during the Winter at Willy’s Fish Shop.
On Tuesdays, if he is not in front of his house, he will be inside Pierre’s Store.
Wednesdays are again a horrible day to find him, as he spends the day at Marnie’s again, and on Thursdays, he will stand idly next to the Clinic and the General Store.
On Fridays, he keeps to the old schedule where he goes to the fountain north of the Clinic and then heads over to the Saloon for a drink. The same goes for Saturdays when he just visits the Blacksmith and the Museum.
During the Winter in Stardew Valley, Lewis will never leave his house on Sundays. That is the best day to locate him since his manor is in the middle of Pelican Town and you just need to go in there at any time of the day, as long as it is Sunday.
