How to Buy a Workshop in Bannerlord
Buying a workshop in Bannerlord now is a lot easier now than it was in Early Access. Players used to have to walk around the town to find the workshop and talk to its owner.
Now, all you have to do to buy a workshop in Bannerlord is:
- Enter the town where you want to get a workshop.
- Look through the notables in the top right corner and click on one that is the owner of a workshop (e.g. Owner of Tannery, Pottery Shop, etc.).
- Choose the “Talk” option.
- Select the “I wish to buy your *what workshop they own*” option.
- Pay them whatever amount they ask for.
Done! You are now the proud owner of a workshop. However, you should know before choosing a workshop which one is going to help you the most.
Each different workshop will provide you with different advantages and risks based on each town and region they are situated in.
There are some workshops that will always bring a profit, though not as much as the riskier ones. These are the ones you should choose if you just started your Mount and Blade journey.

There is also a limit on how many workshops you can own, based on your Clan Tier. So, if you want to own more level 1 workshops in Bannerlord, you should also increase your Clan Tier fast!
